Happy Halloween!

Halloween is a night of mystery. As such, I'll leave it to you readers to try and figure out how it is that I've finally written a timely post.

Megan and Topher came back from their trip to Utah last night. Exhaustion kept us from going to the church Fall/Halloween activity after I picked them up, so we made sure to go out trick-or-treating tonight to make sure we had plenty of people tell us how cute Topher is.

You'll notice that even as a vampire Toper is a messy eater.

As a new vampire, Topher has been doing his best to learn his lessons. Tonight's topic: Shielding yourself with your cape when confronted with a bright light.

Next week's lesson: Hazardous Materials or Garlic 101.

Topher got the hang of it quickly.

Fortunately, Topher was already good at hissing, too.

Topher was an excellent vampire. There is no better father-son bonding activity than attacking unsuspecting pedestrians.

Fresh from the kill.

Not only did Toph gorge himself on fresh blood. He also got candy.

Pretty good haul for 6 houses.

And because I don't think any Halloween is complete without the Monster Mash, here is a clip:
