Life in a Stephen King Novel

The forecast for today said rainy, so Scott and I were shocked when we came downstairs to eat breakfast and saw the mist (or fog rather, but this post's theme requires me to call it the mist). I ran upstairs to get the camera and by the time I was able to get a decent picture, it had actually dissipated quite a bit. Prior to taking this picture, we could hardly see the trees even though they're only ten feet from our back door. Normally Connecticut is beautiful with its rolling hills and acres of trees, but every now and then our area of the state turns into a creepy forest.

The Mist. Creepy.

I became pretty scared as I began to notice creepy creatures hiding in the mist. Apparently the sight of them made my eyes cross slightly. Anyway, as Scott left for class, I felt like I was in a horror movie and I could even hear scary music playing in my head. Even now, I'm a little freaked out but I keep telling myself it's not like I live on top of a pet cemetery or anything...or do I?

The way you talk it sounds like you moved to some back-country, hillbilly town :) I think you definitely need some human contact during the day, I sense the animals are getting to you. BTW - I wish that was the shot from my backyard, I LOVE it!
